Time: 5:00pm – 7:30pm

Event: The Rebel and the Rule Follower

Location: 5028 Park Commons Loop, Glen Allen, Va.

Our experience with authority as children, and the strategies we develop to cope with those authorities, are often still alive in our unconscious, influencing our perception of and reaction to our current authority figures, bosses, intimate relationships, and life in general. Ultimately, this can also impact our relationship with and willingness to surrender to God.

Are you a Rebel? A Rule Follower? A little of both?

I’d love to have you join me for this month’s “A Taste of Pathwork” presentation as we explore Lecture 46: Authority.

Discover how you can learn to tap into your true authority within, and from that place engage in meaningful relationship with others.

You aren’t required to read the Lecture ahead of time, but you will get more out of the evening if you do. After the presentation we will share a potluck dinner, so please bring a dish if you will be joining us for the meal. I look forward to sharing the evening with you!

New Online Group Forming – Join in From the Comfort of Your Home!

 Date: June 25th – Aug. 13th, 2017                                               Video Conference Calls meet 8pm – 9:30pm EST

Event: Shining in the Shadows: Mining the Treasure of Your Inner Landscape

Love. Courage. Wisdom.

This is your divine essence, who you really are beneath all the layers of mask, pretense, and defense.

Easy to say, but can you feel the truth of that? Or somewhere along the bumpy, twisting road of Life have you lost connection with your Real Self?

Instead, does your journey feel filled with dead ends, wrong turns, painful mishaps? Do you long for more purpose and meaning in your days? Would you like to share that most sacred and precious journey with kindred spirits?

I believe we are all continuously being called back home to our original brilliance. We are called to live life aligned with our integrity and our true power. We are here to discover and transform whatever stands in the way, and to offer our gifts to the world.

To do this we must embark on a journey below the surface of our consciousness, into the shadows of our psyche where the treasure that we are lies buried and waiting for re-discovery.

This is the place inside you that has never been wounded, broken, or tainted regardless of your life circumstances.

It’s there, shining in the shadows. Waiting for you to embrace what -on some level- you have known all along.

And for all those adventurous souls who would dare to say, “Yes!” to that calling, I’m excited to announce that beginning June 25th, 2017 I am forming an online Pathwork group, together with Sucheta Jain, where we can navigate this inner landscape in the company of kindred spirits.

We’ll create an intimate container that will support and challenge us as we experience how the Pathwork teachings can help us peel back the layers of distortion, defense, and misconception to reveal our divine essence.   Learn more about this dynamic offering  here.

A Sampling of Recent Events

Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 FREE event!

Time: 5:00pm – 7:30pm

Event: What is the Pathwork and How Can I Deepen in My Spiritual Journey?

Location: 5028 Park Commons Loop, Glen Allen, Va.

The Pathwork is a powerful body of spiritual teachings channeled by a woman named Eva Pierrakos. They remind us that our ultimate goal on the spiritual path is Surrender…. surrender to our imperfection, to acknowledging the truth of our current thoughts, feelings, and actions, to the illusion of control, and to a higher presence that guides us all.

We begin by viewing our lives through the perspective that every experience in our lives can be part of our spiritual practice, an opportunity to awaken to the ways in which we resist surrender, defend against acceptance of what is, and the many ways we block the Divine.

The Pathwork is for those who are ready for a deeper engagement on the spiritual journey, and are willing to practice self-responsibility, honesty, a willingness to let go of everything you think you know to be open to what wants to be revealed in your life.

If this sounds like you, you are invited to join Beth Hedquist for an evening of meditation, discussion, and exploration of Pathwork Lecture 204: What is the Path? You are not required to read the Lecture ahead of time, but you will get more out of the evening if you do.

We will follow up the presentation with a potluck dinner, and while this is a free event, if you choose to share a meal with us please bring a dish.

Location: 5028 Park Commons Loop, Glen Allen, Va.

Cost: $30 per evening

Registration Deadline: Feb. 21st or when group fills

We are all brothers and sisters on a spiritual journey that we cannot walk alone. As we learn to recognize and release our fear, negativity, masks and defenses, we gain the courage and clarity to reach the heart of the other, and real mutuality becomes possible.

Together we can become the change we want to see in the world!

Through discussion, experiential exercises, meditation and movement we will explore the conscious and unconscious ways we obstruct this meeting of the heart. We will create a sacred space of intimacy that will support and reveal our common humanity and underlying divinity.  I would love to have you join us!

In order to create a strong, supportive container for this sacred work, you are asked to commit to the entire series. Space is limited… reserve your space today.

Time: 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Event: STRONGER TOGETHER! An Interfaith Gathering of Support in Challenging Times

Location: 5028 Park Commons Loop, Glen Allen, Va.

In this difficult political climate, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, hopeless, and alone. There is so much that needs to be done, more than any one person can accomplish.

When we come together in fellowship in recognition of our shared humanity, we find the hope, inspiration and connection that can nourish our hearts and souls, strengthen our resilience, and ground our commitment to action in the spiritual principles of love and non-violence.

So take a short break from the media, the protests, letters, phone calls, and petitions, and join Beth Hedquist and Kristin Harrison for an evening of prayer and sharing from the heart.

You give so much. Come receive.

This is a free event, and all are welcome.

Sunday, Jan. 15th, 2017 FREE Event!

Time: 5:00pm – 7:30pm

Event: Shining A Light In the Darkness: An Exploration of Evil

Location: 5028 Park Commons Loop, Glen Allen, Va.

In the face of cruelty, violence, and suffering, we often turn to religion and spirituality to gain insight into the origin of and the solution to evil.

  • Just what is evil?
  • Why is their such suffering in the world?
  • How can we respond to the pain we see inflicted — in our relationships, our community, and our world?

In today’s turbulent times, we need more than existential musings over these concepts. We need a practical, real world approach to the challenges we face today.

You are invited to join Beth Hedquist for an intriguing exploration of evil based on the Pathwork teachings, and discover how you can courageously and compassionately shine your light on any darkness you may encounter.

We’ll be working with Pathwork Lecture 134: The Concept of Evil. It is not required that you read the Lecture ahead of time but you will get more out of the evening if you do.

After the presentation, stick around and enjoy a potluck dinner with us! There is no charge for this event, but if you will be staying for dinner please bring a dish to share.

Sunday, Nov. 13th, 2016  FREE Event!

Time: 5:00pm – 7:30pm “A  Taste of Pathwork”

Event: The Freedom Of Imperfection

Location: 5028 Park Commons Loop, Glen Allen, Va.

We expend so much energy trying to be perfect, expecting others to be just as perfect, and assuming life should reflect our vision of Utopia.

How would it feel to let all that go? Can you imagine floating through life, beautifully held and supported by a perfectly imperfect Universe? Or does that kind of surrender feel like death?

I invite you to join me for this month’s “A Taste of Pathwork” potluck dinner presentation as we explore Pathwork Lecture 60: The Abyss of Illusion: Freedom and Self-Responsibility. The Pathwork is a practical, contemporary spiritual teaching offering tools and practices designed to help create a life of freedom through taking responsibility for our amazing potential as well as our real human limitations. It is not required that you read the Lecture ahead of time, but you’ll get more out of the evening if you do.

We’ll follow up the presentation with a potluck dinner, and while there is no charge for this event, please bring a dish to share if you will be staying for the meal.

Event: Create A Spiritual Practice That Works For You

Location: 5028 Park Commons Loop, Glen Allen, Va.

Meditation. Some take to it like a duck to water, and others avoid it like the plague. It may not look like the traditional spiritual practice, but you don’t have to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Self Rejection to Authentic Integrity

Time: 5:00 – 7:30pm “A Taste of Pathwork” presents:

Event: From Self-Rejection to Authentic Integrity

Location:5028 Park Commons Loop, Glen Allen, Va.

When we identify with the aspects of ourselves that we consider negative, weak, or unflattering, it is tempting to reject those parts of ourselves and create a false persona of who we’d like to be, and who we’d like others to think we are.

The trouble is, we can never live up to our idealized standards, and even if we come close, it is at the price of our integrity, for we have pretended to be someone we are not, and in the process lost connection with the deepest truth of our divine identity, our Real Self.

Join Beth for this month’s “A Taste of Pathwork” presentation, and together we’ll explore the Pathwork teachings on Self-Esteem through discussion and experiential exercises. We’ll be working with Pathwork Lecture 174, and while it is not required that you read the Lecture ahead of time, you will get more out of the evening if you do.

We’ll follow up the presentation with a potluck dinner, and while there is no charge for this event, please bring a dish to share if you will be staying for dinner.
